Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my appointments take?

Your first visit will be your longest visit and may take up to an hour.  After that your regular adjustment visits will take as little as 10 minutes.  We are very respectful of your time and strive to be as efficient as possible at each visit, including having a "zero-wait" policy.  When you arrive on time for your appointment you will meet with the doctor immediately.

Do my kids need to be checked?

Absolutely!  For most of us our first physical trauma is the birth process.  Many childhood conditions can be alleviated by getting adjusted.

Will my insurance cover my Chiropractic visits?

Here is what we have learned about insurance companies and consequently and our adopted office policies:

Auto Insurance with "Medical Payments":

If you have been in an automobile accident and have "Medical Payments" coverage on your policy, we will bill and wait for those insurance payments to arrive, you will only be responsible for whatever the insurance does not cover.  If you do not have "Medical Payments" coverage, we ask that you pay at the time of each visit.  If you have an attorney representing you we may await payment until your case is settled, with the doctors' acceptance of the attorney involved.

Private Insurance:

We will be more than happy to bill your insurance and provide them with all information needed to process your claim, in return we ask that you keep your account current by paying at the time of each visit.  When an insurance payment is received by our office we will either write you a reimbursement check directly or put the money on your account for future care, whichever you prefer.  We are not in any networks or on any lists, so you will want to find out if your insurance covers "out-of-network" or "Non-participating" providers.

Medicare Insurance:

We are non-participating providers for Medicare, which means that we will bill Medicare for you and they will reimburse you directly.  As with our other insurance patients, we ask that you pay at the time of each visit.
